OSAKA NPO PLAZA (ONP)
What's ONP?
 The Osaka NPO Plaza (ONP) is a "Multifaceted organization for Citizens' Activities & NPO" It aims to operate flexibly by making use of "governmental facility, establishment by the private sector, and privatization" (*), working hand-in-hand with the Osaka prefectural government which provides the facility, and taking advantage of the vitality of the private sector which accesses to the ONP. Organizations, which are tenants in or have access to the ONP, promote their activities to realize their individual missions through friendly rivalry; while their respective independence is held in high regard.
*ONP is run by Osaka Voluntary Action Center.

Functions of ONP
- ONP accommodates a variety of intermediary support organizations as well as some other organizations with networking functions, thus fostering the establishment of a multifaceted base for supporting/promoting NPO activities.
- ONP aims to become a base for the promotion of collaboration between NPOs and other bodies such as corporations, local governments, mass media, research institutions, and so on.
- ONP provides an environment where NPOs can make the most of their entrepreneurial spirits, by empowering (exploiting the full potential of) NPOs who have offices in ONP and those who visit ONP.
- ONP reinforces the basis to support the growth of NPOs by providing NPOs with office spaces at low prices.
- ONP aims to become a relay station for mutual support and cooperation with the NPO Support Center
Floor guide
1F - NPO Incubation & Information Exchange Floor

NPO Incubation Space
ONP provides rental booths for NPOs which need individual office spaces for their activities. The booths are equipped with desks, chairs, lockers, telephone lines, and internet connections.
- Lease period: 3 years.
- Monthly rent: M-type, 16,000 yen; L-type, 22,000 yen including utilities.
- Other charges: two month deposit. Telephone and parking fees are born by its tenants.

Space for Information Exchange
In this space, a variety of information related to NPOs and their activities is exchanged.
Information on various events, newsletters, and other useful information for NPO activities are gathered from a wide variety of sources and transmitted to those who visit.

Work Station
ONP provides work spaces for NPO that need a base for their activities, which they may use for their clerical work including printing. A photocopier, printer, guillotine, and folding machine are available. Lockers and letter boxes are available for rent as well.
*For use of the work station, "ONP Registration" is necessary.

2F - NPO Support Floor ... 2F

This floor is for offices of organizations which are mainly engaged in supporting small nonprofit's agencies by providing NPOs with services such as consulting, training, research, and coordination related to NPO activities. Those respective NPO support organizations on the floor aim to widely develop their projects for NPO support services and other projects, making full use of their respective originality and expert knowledge and sometimes cooperating with each other.
- Lease period: 5 years.
- Other charges: three month deposit. Telephone and parking fees are born by its tenants.

3F - Floor with Conference Rooms for rent

ONP provides conference rooms for holding events or conferences, at low prices. Some conference rooms may be used as a hall, after removing the partitions between rooms. All the rooms are equipped with substantial equipment including a projector unit and OHP for rent and the internet.
